Chris Searles is an Associate with planningAlliance, as well as our sister practice rePlan, and is a registered planner and architect with 30 years of experience in urban planning and community development, both in the United States and overseas. Chris has completed housing planning and developments in Swaziland, housing policy development in Lesotho, urban planning in South Africa and Zambia, village development planning in Botswana, refugee assistance in Afghanistan, and natural disaster reconstruction in Indonesia. Chris is currently managing planningAlliance’s Urban Plan and Interim Growth Strategy project in Amman, Jordan.

Chris received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Kansas State University in 1977 and a Master of Regional and Community Planning degree from the University of New Mexico in 1988. He is a member of the American Planning Association, and the American Institute of Architects.
