PAUL
KULIG

Paul Kulig is an Associate with regionalArchitects, sister firm to planningAlliance and rePlan. Paul leads rA’s public housing and public space projects, bringing a particular focus to the intersection between architecture, landscape architecture and urban design. With over 10 years’ experience working for a broad range of institutional, municipal and non-profit clients, his attention to the space between buildings serves to make every project a conscious act of city building. Paul has been instrumental in the design and construction of rA’s recent portfolio of social housing projects including Evangel Hall and the Wellesley Community Residences, and is currently managing the construction of the LEED Silver equivalent headquarters for YWCA Toronto. Prior to joining regionalArchitects, Paul served as Project Architect on a variety of projects including the innovative Bloor Street Transformation and the significant renovation and re-cladding of a pair of 1960s buildings at Seneca College, as well as working on designs for the Parish House at St. James’ Cathedral in Toronto and the Terrence Donnelly Centre for Cellular and Biomolecular Research at the University of Toronto.

Paul studied architecture at the University of Waterloo where he completed his Bachelor in Environmental Studies (Hons.) in 1997, and Bachelor of Architecture in 2000. Paul is an Intern member of the Ontario Association of Architects.
