IMPROVEMENT PLAN

In the Northern Ontario town of Hearst, the Community Improvement Plan advances old and new economic strengths, through the enhancement and revitalization of Hearst’s primary commercial sector and corridor. pA worked with J.L. Richards to create the Plan, which addresses infrastructure deficiencies and facilitates beautification projects through improvements to parks and public spaces, the pedestrianization of and upgrading of the streetscape and facilities, and improving connections to adjacent neighbourhoods and natural areas. New gateways to the commercial centre reinforce Hearst’s long-standing position as a regional service and forestry centre.
