Crispin Smith

Crispin Smith is a civil engineer and urban planner professionally licensed in both fields. He has experience working with government, NGOs, private consulting firms and the United Nations with international experience that include missions in Ghana, Haiti, Iran, Mongolia and the Philippines.

Crispin's experience includes projects related to water and sanitation, waste management, shelter, logistics, community consultation and emergency response. His domestic work has focused on working with aboriginal communities to develop and implement community plans. His work with First Nation communities has been recognized by the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) and received the CIP Award for Planning Excellence in the category of Social Planning in 2010.
