Emma West

Emma West is a Principal with planningAlliance and affiliated firms regionalArchitects and rePlan. Drawing upon fifteen years of experience in land use and environmental planning for both private and public sector clients, she has managed community and city-building projects at all scales - from Regional and Official Plans to Secondary Plans and Plans of Subdivision - and focuses on integrating sustainability principles into the planning and approvals process. A LEED AP with a BSc and MSc, and a Certificate in Urban Design, Emma applies her technical background to the planning process and has prepared a number sustainable community guidelines and plans. Her approach to planning emphasizes the involvement of stakeholders and the broader community. Emma is a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and a Registered Professional Planner.
