
Michelle Drylie
Michelle is a Senior Planner and has a strong focus on stakeholder engagement. She joined rePlan and affiliated practices planningAlliance and regionalArchitects in 2008 and has played an integral role in a number of the firm’s comprehensive planning projects since. She was Project Manager for the award-winning Lawrence-Allen Revitalization Study in the City of Toronto, which included regular negotiations with stakeholders, transportation and servicing infrastructure masterplanning, and development of land-use and urban design plans. She is currently managing the preparation and implementation of the Thompson Economic Diversification Plan in Northern Manitoba. This project involves the delivery and realization of a variety of action plans and the ongoing facilitation of an eleven-member Working Group, comprising all levels of government, various aboriginal organisations, and a number of private sector interests. Michelle has also worked with diverse communities in Arctic Canada, Mongolia and Turkey on a range of issues, including climate change, infrastructure development and resettlement planning. Michelle’s strong technical planning skills are complemented by her ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder dialogue processes. Michelle holds a Master of Science in Planning from the University of Toronto. She is a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and a Registered Professional Planner.
