Pamela is an architect and urban designer who received her Master of Architecture from MIT in 2011, where her design research focused on the infrastructures and operations of offshore oil development in the Canadian Arctic. Following graduation, she worked as a Design Researcher for the Landscape Infrastructure Lab at Harvard University, where she was studying issues of urban settlement across a range of changing coastal conditions. At rePlan, Pamela is a member of the Core Project Team managing the Thompson Project in Northern Manitoba. She brings to all her work a knowledge of the issues facing remote regions impacted by resource development. Pamela works across a range of scales within Northern regions. Her work includes community planning details, as well as the broad, regional issues of infrastructure development. She understands the issues that affect growth and community identity and combines her interest in community engagement, buildings, landscapes and urban conditions throughout her work.
