
Sara is an Anthropologist with a background in peace and conflict, and international development. She works directly with local communities, in Canada and internationally, towards improving social outcomes, particularly those related to projects in the mining and energy sectors. She specializes in survey design, data management, impact assessment, and participative and sustainable community development. With a strong research and statistical background she integrates economic, social and environmental data into analyses of the relationships between communities and other actors. She works with multiple stakeholders (communities, government, industry and NGOs), to achieve their respective objectives. International best practice informs the services she provides. She has lived and worked across Africa, primarily in Ghana and Zimbabwe.
